Chief Minister Employment Generation Scheme

The main objective of this scheme is to give the benefit of grant on loans and loans at easy and cheap rates to the youth of minority community to start self-employment / own business.

To get the loan under the scheme, the beneficiary will have to fulfill the following qualifications:-

1. Applicant's age should be 18 to 45 years.
2. The applicant should be a permanent resident of the state of Jharkhand and it will be mandatory to give a certificate issued in this regard.
3. Caste certificate issued from Jharkhand state (Online issue).
4. IV. Income certificate issued from the state of Jharkhand (Online issue) - The annual family income of the applicant in rural and urban areas should not exceed Rs. 5,00,000/-.
5. Applicant should not be in government/semi government service. It will be mandatory to provide self-declaration to this effect.
6. The applicant should not have taken the benefit of loan grant from any government/semi-government institution in the past and should not be a defaulter of any bank or financial institutions. It will be mandatory to provide self-declaration to this effect.
7. The applicant will have to provide a photocopy of the Aadhar card / age certificate / bank account number (photocopy of the first page of the passbook).
8. For loans above Rs. 50,001/-, plan proposal will have to be given. In the scheme proposal, it will be mandatory for the applicant to share the information that how much employment is being created per investment of Rs 1.50 lakh in his business (excluding vehicle loan). Business proposals related to any kind of intoxicants like liquor, bones, toddy etc., which are harmful to the environment, such as polythene bags/carry less than 20 microns, bags/packaging materials etc. will not be covered under this scheme.
9. 50,001/-, the applicant will have to bear 10% of the total cost of the project unit as margin money.
10. If any training has been taken related to the scheme proposal, then its certificate will have to be attached.
11. A guarantor is not required in a vehicle loan. The vehicle has to be reversed only. The obligation of the driving license is not of the borrower, it is necessary to have the license of the driver from whom the operation will be done by him.
12. Loan amount will be provided to self-help groups for income augmentation in the light of the norms and guidelines issued from time to time by the SHGs, implemented by the Rural Development Department.
13.If the applicant is handicapped, then in that case it will be mandatory for the applicant to submit the certificate related to disability (at least 40%).
