The Jharkhand State Minorities Finance And Development Corporation was incorporated on 15 March 2012 as a company not for Profit under section-25 of the companies at 1956, with 100% Shared holding of government of jharkhand it is prime jharkhand state level minorities welfare organization promoted for the benifit of minority communities for welfare and economic development of minority communities.
The important work of the corporation is to provide Term loan, Working capital Loan, Education Loan and other type of financial assisatant at very concessional interest rate For self employment/ education/ income generation activities.
As for the national Commission minority act 1992, the notified Minorities are Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, jain & Parsis.
The Jharkhand State Minorities Finance And Development Corporation give Preference to the poor section of community by providing concessional finance, training and skill development so that the per Capita income of these groups can be enhanced.
